Cape Town Environmental Education Trust

(CTEET)

The Cape Town Environmental Education Trust, a non profit trust that manages the Zeekoevlei Environmental Education Programme.  This programme runs three day, two night environmental camps for underprivileged children. We have a seven year flawless track record.  At the moment we are using two facilities on the shore of Zeekoevlei.  The Zeekoevlei Environmental Centre and, the False Bay Ecology Park Environmental Centre.  These centres fall within the False Bay Ecology Park which includes the Zeekoevlei and the Rondevlei Nature Reserves, the Cape Flats Waste Water Works and the Coastal Park Landfill site.  We are situated within the largest water bird area in South Africa.  We are also able to run our programme from other sites should that be required.

At present we are doing in excess of 60% of the City of Cape Town’s environmental education in local reserves.
