Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa - Gauteng

(FTTSA)

FTTSA stands for “Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa.” FTTSA is an independent non-profit organisation that promotes equitable and sustainable tourism development in South Africa. FTTSA carries out a range of awareness raising activities and facilitates a voluntary certification initiative that awards a special Trademark (label) to tourism establishments in South Africa that comply with Fair Trade principles and criteria.

FTTSA’s Vision is for a fair, participatory and sustainable tourism industry in South Africa.

FTTSA’s Mission is to facilitate the integration of Fair Trade in Tourism principles and criteria into South African tourism so that the industry is more sustainable.

FTTSA’s Values are encapsulated in the 6 Fair Trade in Tourism South Africa principles: Fair Share, Democracy, Respect, Reliability, Transparency and Sustainability.
