We at Just Pc’s think that it is of utmost importance to look after our environment, which is why we are promoting the “Green” disposal of all IT equipment. The best kind of recycling is re-using. Just Pc's will pay you for your redundant computers & collect from your premises if it is in bulk quantities. If you are a corporate company this will help tremendously with the fulfillment of your social responsibility. 

What happens to IT equipment once it has been collected by Just Pc’s?

All computers & parts will be tested by our technicians to determine their condition. Once the working computers & parts have been separated from the non working ones the refurbishing process will start. Included in the refurbishment process is the repartitioning & format of all hard drives to insure that sensitive data is destroyed (formatting will be done with Active kill disk if so instructed by the previous owner). Any working parts are stripped from faulty computers & kept for future refurbishing.

After the computer has passed through the refurbishment process it will be Quality Checked & then wrapped in plastic wrap.

Monitors are checked for cracks, blurry, to-dark, to-light & discolouring, if none of the above defects are detected the monitor will be refurbished.

Any components that we are unable to use for refurbishment will be collected for recycling by a one of our preferred recycling companies.

Letters of destruction can also be provided if needed.

We also donate computers to eligible recipients in some cases or if so instructed by the previous owner.The computers donated will be 100% refurbished & can even be delivered & installed by Just Pc’s.
