Vertical and Roller Blinds

(VredeTex)

The vertical and roller blind fabric has a unique handle and finish. Essentially, the major difference between our blind fabric and that produced by other companies is that, instead of having plastic-coated fabric, the plastic is "inside" Vrede's fabric and is therefore soft to the touch. A stiffener could however be applied on request. The resulting high-tech product is washable and innately stable as the yarn is extruded. The fabric is therefore less likely to cup or twist. Unlike fabric containing fibre-glass, this fabric does not shred and is completely non-toxic. For this reason it is favoured in the medical and technical environments. We are authentic in our approach to the conservation of energy. The fabric contains no aldehydes or formaldehyde, no volatile organic compounds, gives off no respirable particles-thus making them safe for use in nursing homes, hospitals and homes for senior citizens. Does not produce heat induced gas emissions. Has no PVC content. Is made from only recyclable materials and non-wood based materials.

The fabric is woven from composite spun yarn and is available in a variety of colours and constructions. Because of the unique method of manufacture, the fabric does not need to be coated to retain stability and has excellent technical properties. It has a natural textile appearance and feel.
