What's happened to the Going Green Recycler?

Our apologies for the inconvenience but the Going Green Recycler has itself been recycled!

The Going Green Recycler was launched on the Going Green website in January 2010 and was subsequently removed and recycled as a new website component in August 2010.

The Recycler was a free advertising platform aimed at encouraging people to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repurpose, Repair & Regift. Despite the fact that it recieved a substantial amount of website traffic during its 8-month life-span, however, people (ourselves not inclusive!) just didn't seem to make use of it. Who would have guessed - we sure didn't and we're still quite surprised! :)

Life, it seems, is always full of lessons :) On the up-side, the fate of the Recycler probably just means that people based in Africa are already giving old items to other people in their own neighbourhoods or communities. This is actually really great news.
